Where to Turn for Religious Guidance
Pastor, Benjamin Crawford
Reverend Benjamin Crawford wants you to know that his natural birth was October 28, 1951, in Eufaula, Alabama and that his spiritual birth was on November 30, 1969, at the tempestuous age of eighteen, in Baltimore, Maryland. God providentially brought him 850 miles to Baltimore so that he could discover His purposes and plans for his life. Since the day that he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior; he has been determined to live a committed and consecrated life to the glory of God.
He founded his first church, Maranatha Baptist Church in 1975. He is Pastor and Founder of his second church, Kingsway Bible Baptist Church, which was organized February 18, 1979 and where he has served faithfully as Senior Pastor for 41 years. His vision to plant a church in his hometown of Eufaula, Alabama came to fruition in June of 2014. The Magnolia Bible Church is Pastor Crawford’s third church planted to the glory of God. His desire, dream and determination is to plant a church in each city that he played football in while in high school in Alabama, which are: Abbeville, Auburn, Andalusia, Ashford, Dothan, Enterprise, Opelika and Ozark.
Reverend Crawford is a family man. His wife Lucille is also a native Alabamian and they have been gloriously and happily married for 50 years. Amazingly, Pastor and Mrs. Crawford were born naturally and spiritually on the same dates (October 28, and November 30). The Lord has blessed them with two wonderful daughters, Christina and Bridgette, two granddaughters, Tyera (Te-era) and Zoë (Zo-ee) and son-in-law, Michael.
Reverend Crawford is a graduate of the Baltimore School of the Bible (1977). The Lord has blessed him to attend the following: Washington Bible College, Howard Community College, the Community College of Baltimore and the National Business and Automotive School where he graduated Valedictorian. He received a bachelor’s degree in Theology on May 8, 1981. Reverend Crawford has taught at the Maryland Bible Institute and the Family Bible College. In addition, he graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a GPA of 3.80, tops in the Philosophy Department, and he graduated in the top 10% of the graduating class of 2012 at Morgan State University.
It is Reverend Crawford’s desire to be used by God every time he preaches or teaches God’s Word. He realizes that he is only an instrument in the hands of God. Will you pray for him and listen to what God is saying to each of us individually as he stands before us and declare God’s Word? God Bless You!
